What is classroom wraparound care?
Classroom wraparound care enables parents to buy additional sessions in the Nursery School. All Wraparound childcare, including Breakfast Club and After School Club run during term time.
Our Breakfast Club and Tea Club operate term time only. Breakfast Club starts at 8am with breakfast being served until 8:15am, and Tea Club runs until 5pm. Children bring a light tea with them which is stored in our fridge.
Parents should firstly discuss their child’s ability to cope with any extra session(s) with the key person. Once your child is happy and settled at nursery their key person can agree with you to add on and/or increase wraparound sessions.
Do I have to book in advance?
You will be asked to sign a contract, booking the places you want on an annual basis. You must give four weeks notice to change your booking or terminate the contract.
How do I pay?
You will be given a monthly invoice to be paid in advance. You can pay at the school office with cash or cheque (made payable to Bristol City Council).

What are the session times?
Breakfast Club opens at 8am.
Breakfast is provided and available between 8am and 8:15am.
No admittance after 8:30am.
Tea Club is straight after school until 5pm.
Please ensure you are on time to pick up your child.
Do I have to use the service 5 days a week?
No. You can book whichever sessions suit you, but they must be the same regular days and a minimum of 2 sessions each week.
How many places are there
Places are dependent on our numbers in each class and, as children cannot move classrooms in the middle of the day, places are limited by demand in each class.
Can I get help with the costs?
The School is unable to offer any subsidised places. However, you may be able to get help through Tax-Free Childcare, and you can find more information and support on the Best Start in Life website.
What about meals?
If your child stays all day, please provide them with a packed lunch. Children staying to Tea Club will also need a light tea. Children are provided breakfast at Breakfast Club.
What if I need to cancel a session?
You will still be charged for your regular sessions if your child is unable to attend.
Any new wrap around care bookings will be subject to a small admin fee.
