It has been a wonderful start to the new term at Filton Avenue Nursery School, with children settling in well, building new friendships and developing positive relationships with familiar and new adults. It has been lovely to see children growing in confidence as they explore their environment and become part of the nursery community.
The nursery has also welcomed new members of staff, including new teaching and office team colleagues, who are already helping to support children and families. Families are encouraged to speak with their child’s key person, teacher or room leader if they have any questions or concerns throughout the year.
At nursery we try to promote good attendance that will build habits for children’s future school, we are also aware that children get ill! We encourage you to bring your child to Nursery unless they are unwell, we use the attached guidance to determine if children should be in or not.
Filton Avenue Nursery School would also like to thank families for their ongoing support and remind everyone of the importance of safe parking and following nursery procedures to help keep the community safe and welcoming for all.
