Families in the Filton Avenue Nursery School community may be interested in a range of events, activities and support services taking place in Lockleaze and the surrounding area over the coming weeks.
There are plenty of opportunities for children and families to get outdoors and explore nature, including guided wellbeing walks, family bug walks, nature trails and community wildlife volunteering sessions. During half term, families can also enjoy activities such as the Wonder Baby interactive play experience for children aged 0-3 and the Halloween Fun-gi Trail.
Parents and carers looking to meet others in the local area may be interested in the Really Wild Social, while The Hub and Old St James continue to offer a variety of regular community groups and activities throughout the week. Practical support is also available through the Energy Advice Event, where local residents can access free guidance on energy bills, home improvements, benefits and debt advice.
Looking ahead, Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust will also be hosting a Winter Tabletop Sale on 1st December, providing an opportunity for local residents to shop, sell and connect with others in the community.
