Children in Acorns at Filton Avenue Nursery School have had a busy and exciting start to the new term. They have been making fresh orange juice, exploring how fruit can be prepared and enjoyed, while developing their independence and confidence through hands-on experiences.
The children have also enjoyed trips to the local library, where they have discovered new stories, listened carefully during group activities and developed a growing interest in books and reading. These visits have helped children build their communication skills and encouraged a love of storytelling.
Alongside these experiences, children have been settling into nursery, making new friends and trying a variety of new activities. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explore their environment, share experiences with others and develop new skills through play and learning.
We are very proud of how well the children have embraced new experiences and look forward to another exciting term in Acorns.
