Next Thursday, 6th March, is World Book Day.
Your child will come home with their World Book Day voucher, which is valid for a free book or £1 off any book worth £2.99 or more.
To celebrate World Book Day, we are inviting all children to bring their favourite book to share.
We will be doing lots of reading throughout the day and as part of our School of Sanctuary award, we will be doing activities related to books about journeys.
We are trying to encourage children to share a love of reading and the magic of stories during the day and so are not encouraging dressing up. However, if your child wants to come dressed as their favourite book character, they are welcome to do so.
