We have some bittersweet news to share, as Johnny, Gavin and Liz will be retiring from Filton Avenue Nursery School in a couple of weeks. After many years of dedication to our nursery and the countless children they have taught and cared for, all three will be greatly missed by staff, children and families alike.
To mark this special occasion, Johnny and Gavin have given the nursery the most thoughtful leaving gift: a beautiful pear tree, which the children were able to unveil together recently. It is a gift that will keep on giving for many years to come, and we cannot think of a more fitting way to celebrate their time here at FANS. As the children watch the tree grow, blossom and eventually bear fruit, they will be reminded of Johnny and Gavin’s kindness and the wonderful legacy they leave behind.
Liz will also be leaving us a special gift, which we will be sharing more about very soon, so watch this space!
