Local Art Opportunity for Our Community

We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for local artists! The Severnside Community Rail Partnership is seeking a muralist with strong Bristol connections to create a heritage mural at Ashley Down Station. This £3,250 commission will celebrate our railway history, community diversity, and sustainable transport on a 24.4-meter wall. The project launches alongside Railway 200, marking 200 years of railway heritage. Expressions of interest are due by June 25th, 2025, with completion by mid-September. This is a fantastic chance for a local artist to contribute to our community’s visual landscape and celebrate what makes Ashley Down special.
