Filton Avenue Nursery School is delighted to share some wonderful opportunities for our families this summer.

Ignite Bristol is running a Summer Series of inclusive activities specifically designed for d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent children and young people across Bristol. These sessions are welcoming, engaging, and supportive for all abilities.

The activities most relevant to our area include skittles sessions perfect for developing coordination, sensory storytime designed for all sensory needs, and tag rugby that’s adapted for everyone. There are also street dance sessions that may be accessible for some of our families, plus many more activities including martial arts, multi-sports, and BMX sessions happening across the city.

These activities have been thoughtfully spread across Bristol to make them easily accessible for local families. Every session is designed to be inclusive, ensuring all children can participate and enjoy themselves in a supportive environment.

We encourage all our families to take a look at the opportunities available. It’s a wonderful way to keep the children active and engaged during the summer holidays.
