This week, children in Beech and Willow Room have been exploring their new environments and discovering all the exciting opportunities available to them. The children have been challenging themselves physically on outdoor climbing equipment, building their confidence and gross motor skills. Inside, they’ve been settling into the cosy reading area, sharing books together and developing their love of stories.
Children have also been experimenting at the water tray and exploring construction materials, discovering how different pieces fit together. These settling-in experiences are helping children become familiar with their new space whilst building relationships with peers and adults, supporting their confidence and sense of belonging in their nursery community.
