With the holidays only two and a half weeks away, term 2 is nearing its end. Thank you, as ever, for your support and encouragement during the first 2 terms of the year. I trust you feel settled into life at FANS and know that your children are having exciting learning experiences. Once again, thank you to those who responded to our recent questionnaire with lots of positive feedback.
Just to remind you the last day of term is Friday 17th December when the children can dress up and celebrate the end of term parties happening within Acorns, beech and Willow.
As ever at this time of year, we would be looking forward to welcoming you all into the centre to join us and the children in our Christmas Sing-a-longs. Once again we are making alternative arrangements due to the Pandemic but do not worry, the Sing-a-long will happen! The children are in full swing practising their songs, song sheets are available at the classroom doors and we are preparing to record their performances towards the end of next week. We will post the recording on our website so you can enjoy the moment virtually. Please let your key person know through a permission slip if you don’t want your child to be in the video.
Many of you have noticed our new caretaker busy taking care of our school – we welcome Barry to the school community after the retirement of Phil, our previous caretaker. Please do say hello!
Please can I remind you of the Winter months ahead – hats, gloves, scarves, boots or sturdy shoes and layers of clothing are best for active play outside. The children love the outside no matter what the weather!
Can I also remind you to help us keep everyone safe by not sending children to school who are clearly unwell, by using the testing system immediately you or your children have symptoms of the virus and to ring into the office to keep us updated should you receive a positive test result? Thank you for wearing face coverings.
Can I wish you all a Happy holiday (when we get there!) and stay safe and well over the holiday period. Term 3 starts on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
