In Acorns, we are excited to share a fabulous new addition to our top garden – a bird hide that doubles as a climbing frame!

This unique structure offers the children a peaceful place to sit quietly, observe birds, and connect with nature. Whether they’re looking out for birds inside or climbing up for a better view of our Oak tree, it’s quickly become a favourite spot for exploration, creative, imaginative play, and somewhere that they can really put their climbing skills into practice. We also have a lovely new child-sized bench with planters on either side, which is perfect for encouraging mindfulness, curiosity, and a quiet place to connect with nature.

We’ve been busy with many fine motor skills activities — from carefully cutting vegetables to planting our sunflowers. These hands-on experiences support physical development and help children connect with the natural world in meaningful ways.
