Families may be interested in two local events happening in our area this July. Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust is hosting a Summer Feast at Gainsborough Square on Saturday, 12 July, from 1 pm to 4 pm. This free community picnic includes pop-up tennis and fun activities in the sun, with accompanied children very welcome.
For families with older children, they’re also starting a new Coding Club for Beginners aimed at Year 4, 5 and 6 children. The club runs on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm at Old St James Church on Romney Avenue, starting Wednesday, 2nd July.
