This week in Acorns, the children built an obstacle course using wooden planks and mats! Working collaboratively, the children showed problem-solving skills as they carefully arranged the materials and then took turns navigating their creation with growing confidence. It was wonderful to observe their pride as they balanced along the planks, while encouraging their friends.

This child-led activity beautifully demonstrates physical development (balance and coordination) and personal and social skills (turn-taking and collaboration). The children explored mathematical concepts of space and position while strengthening their communication skills through shared problem-solving.
