Our outside area is beginning to warm up in terms of temperature and usage! The children have been making the most of the milder weather to engage with nature and explore our outdoor environment in exciting ways. In the sand pit, children worked together to draw shapes and patterns, developing their fine motor skills through sensory play. Children have been having fun pushing their friends up and down our hill in a barrel, and our woodland area has become a place of adventure and discovery as children explore behind the branches and foliage. These natural hideaways provide perfect opportunities for imaginative play while building an appreciation for the natural world.
