Dear Parents and Carers,
Term 4 is now in full swing. The children have been busy enjoying books for book week, going on Bear Hunts, and exploring provocations inside and outside the classroom. The weather has made a huge difference to our beautiful site, and the children and staff have been taking full advantage of being outdoors.
Please take a look at our website to see all the lovely things we’ve been up to.
Eid Celebration
To mark the end of Ramadan, we would like to invite all parents and carers to our Eid celebration on Wednesday, 2nd April, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Staff will be providing some food, and you are welcome to bring in some dishes to share. Please make sure there are no nuts or eggs, and let staff know what ingredients are in your dishes. Please see Johnny, Rahma, or Sadia if you wish to bring in a dish. Many thanks.
National Education Nature Park Grant – Help Needed!

Are you or anyone you know landscape gardeners, biodiversity experts or can offer us advice on improving our outdoor space?
We are eligible for a government grant to improve our outdoor place, make it more biodiverse, appeal to wildlife, and improve our green spaces. If you can offer help or support, this can be voluntarily or paid as part of the grant terms. More information can be seen here.
If you think you could help, please speak with me at the gate or email the school. Thank you.
Parent/Carers Evening
Thank you for attending our parent/carer evening last week. It was great to welcome you into Nursery and share all the great things about your child(ren). We had some lovely feedback from you in our parent questionnaire—thank you for helping us improve. The online questionnaire is now closed, but if you would like a paper copy, please speak to the office. Thank you.
Help With Childcare Fees

You may be eligible for help paying for childcare, including any wrap-around sessions outside of your funded hours; the government website, Childcare Choices, can help you navigate and see if you’re eligible. Other useful websites are Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit Childcare Costs.
Parking
Thank you for your support and understanding about parking in our car park. We have seen a huge improvement in parking conditions.
Can we please remind parents and carers to be mindful of our neighbours when parking on the roads near the nursery and avoid parking on the yellow zig-zags on Blakeney Road? Thanks again!
Help Needed!

We are well underway in our application to become a School of Sanctuary, but we require some parent help. If you are or have been a sanctuary seeker and would be interested in coming and talking about your journey with the children, regular or one-off volunteering (cooking, reading in your home language, etc.), then please speak with me, Johnny, Liz, or Dave to talk further about what we could do for each other. Thank you.
As always, if you need to speak with your child’s key person or any member of staff, please do so at drop off or pick up times. If your matter is sensitive, please arrange a time with them and a quiet and more private space can be booked.
Thank you,
Kate and everyone at FANS
