As Term 1 draws to a close for the half-term break, I want to thank you for a really productive term which has involved children returning to us, new children settling in (very well) and lots of harvesting of fruit and vegetables! We have enjoyed some lovely Autumnal weather in the gardens and children have been exploring our recent jungle environment in the corridor.

Your children have already developed many independent skills and are learning to make friends and communicate their needs to each other and adults in the rooms as well as exploring many new learning experiences. I am sure they are telling you all about their time at Nursery!

Shortly after the half-term holiday on Wednesday 10th November we will be having our Parents Evening – an opportunity to catch up with your child’s key person to see how and what they are learning as well as discuss what they want to learn next. Details will follow.

Please remember to adhere to the hands, face and space message in light of current high levels of Coronavirus in Bristol and we respectfully ask you not to send your children into Nursery unwell. We would ask you to inform us if you are self-isolating, awaiting test results and of course, those COVID-19 test results. Please can I ask you to wear a face-covering on school premises again, for the protection of all, as cases are so high at the moment.

A gentle reminder that the car park is only limited to staff parking and should not be used to drop off, wait or pick up your children. The nursing home needs access at all times.

Enjoy the half term and wrap up warm for the winter terms ahead!

With very best wishes
