What an exciting time in our outdoor space! Our children in Beech and Willow have been exploring, learning, and growing in so many ways.

Climbing has been a favourite activity, with children carefully climbing our trees with their winter branches and showing amazing confidence. In our bike area, children have been practising safety by wearing helmets and sharing the equipment.

The wet weather has created fantastic learning opportunities! Children have been experimenting with puddles and wet sand, finding creative ways to play while staying dry. They have been developing essential communication and teamwork skills.

The Beech and Willow children have also been celebrating Chinese New Year and have created an incredible shared Chinese Dragon costume, being very creative with arts and crafts. They had great fun showcasing their finished costume to music.

It’s wonderful to see how these activities support all areas of learning, from physical development and problem-solving to social skills and cultural awareness. Whether climbing, cycling, or splashing, our children are building the confidence and capabilities they’ll carry forward in their learning journey.
